GEORGE H. WISE
Born July 7, 1908, in Saluda County, South Carolina, B.S., 1930, Clemson College; M.S., 1932, and Ph.D., 1936, University of Minnesota.
Positions: Graduate Assistant, University of Minnesota, 1933–1936; Associate Dairy Husbandman, Clemson College, 1937–1944; Associate Professor, Professor in Dairying, Kansas State College, 1944–1947; Associate Professor in Dairy Production, Iowa State College, 1947–1949; Professor and Head, Animal Nutrition Section, Department of Animal Science, 1949-Present.
Professional and Honorary Societies: American Dairy Science Association (26 years), American Society of Animal Science, American Association for the Advancement of Science (Fellow), American Institute of Nutrition, American Chemical Society, Society of Experimental Biology and Medicine, North Carolina Academy of Science, Society of Sigma Xi, Phi Kappa Phi, Alpha Zeta, Gamma Alpha, Gamma Sigma Delta.
