Central Illinois—Subject of the April meeting: The Threat of Hoof and Mouth Disease in Cattle. Speaker: Dr. W. O. Nelson, Professor of Bacteriology, Department of Dairy Science, University of Illinois.

Central Michigan—Speaker at the evening meeting, April 18, was Mr. Gar Wagner of the McDonald Cooperative Dairy Company, who discussed the topic Take a Look at Ourselves Through Quality and Sales.

Metropolitan—The April meeting featured William V. Hickey, Field Consultant, Public Health Committee of the Paper Cup & Container Institute, talking on Labeling on Dairy Products.

Nebraska—April 3 was Ladies' Night, with dinner at the Town and Country Restaurant. Dr. I. A. Gould, Chairman, Department of Dairy Technology, Ohio State University, presented a slide discussion of interest to all, including the ladies: Experiences as a Dairy Consultant with UNICEF.

North Carolina—Place of the April 11 meeting was the North Carolina State College Dairy plant, with dinner at Balentine's Restaurant. The topic and speaker were a surprise to all members, and at this date have not been divulged to us!
