ABSTRACT

To The Members of the American Dairy Science Association:

The University of Wisconsin is honored to be host to the 56th annual meeting of the American Dairy Science Association June 11 to 14, 1961.

It is always a pleasure to have visitors to our campus. Because dairying is such an important part of Wisconsin, we particularly welcome the valuable information and stimulating discussions a group such as yours will bring us.

Since you last met here in 1953, we have added several new buildings and facilities. I think you will find them of interest, and I hope you will have time to get acquainted with them and with other resources of this University. Among Wisconsin dairy farmers and in the dairy industry too, you will find a warm welcome if you have time to do some traveling and visiting in the State.

The University facilities and staff are at your service, and all of us are looking forward to your stay in Wisconsin.
