Working with Industry Organizations

R. B. Redfern

Department of Animal Industry North Carolina State College, Raleigh

ABSTRACT

This portion of our program is the result of a direct request from one of our members who wrote the program planning committee saying, "We would also suggest that a panel of experts be assembled to discuss some of the special problems which dairy manufacturing specialists encounter in their work, especially when it becomes necessary to deal with specific pieces of commercial equipment and specific processes developed by commercial people. Also, it would be of great interest to our group to have a discussion of special methods which have proved themselves in practice for dealing with organized groups in the dairy and food industry."

I know that all of you realize there is no common answer to the first portion of the request regarding problems with special pieces of equipment and special processes developed by commercial concerns. But I will venture to say that all of you have this problem.
