ABSTRACT
In this fast-moving world, it is well to pause occasionally and take stock of our Association, to see how the membership is changing.
Article III, Section 1, of the Constitution reads, "Any person shall be eligible to membership who has had college training in dairying or who is in a position of responsibility that requires a technical knowledge of dairy science." This allows for considerable latitude, since most any job in the dairy field except that of a laborer requires some technical knowledge.
MEMBERSHIP HISTORY
A study of 50 yr. of Association history, prepared by Historian Dr. G. M. Trout for the 50th Anniversary in 1956, reveals the following historical background of the Association.
