Calves were fed 5 g. Aurofac per day, first in whole milk, then in skimmilk, from four days to 4 wk. of age. From 4 to 24 wk. Aurofac was fed in grain at the rate of 20 lb. per ton of feed. The calves fed Aurofac gained 18% more in weight and 23.6% more in height at withers than untreated calves during a 24-wk. feeding period. These differences are statistically significant at the 1% level of probability.
