The President Comments

Your Program Committee recently met in Chicago and spent the greater part of two days working out the general program for the next annual meeting to be held on the campus of the Univ. of Illinois June 15–17, 1959. Everything points to another successful meeting this year. We feel confident the scientific papers, symposia, and other activities will be mutually attractive to all members in the many industries concerned with dairying as well as those in the academic fields.

Titles and Abstracts are Due. May I call your attention to the deadline of Feb. 1, 1959, for titles and abstracts of papers to be presented. This deadline must be met so the program can be published in the April Journal and the abstracts in the May Journal.

If you have a paper to present and have not already done so, send your title and abstract to your section chairman right away.
