ABSTRACT

Louisiana Division of A.D.S.A. Holds First Annual Meeting

Some 70 A.D.S.A. members and student affiliates attended the first Annual meeting of the Louisiana Division of the A.D.S.A. held in April at Baton Rouge, La.

Louisiana is the first state division associa|tion of A.D.S.A. If this meeting is any indication, a state A.D.S.A. division may serve a very useful purpose. The entire program was built around the theme of an intelligent and scientific approach to problems of the dairy industry in Louisiana.

The group included milk producers, dairy product manufacturers, regulatory officials, key personnel from the State Divisional of Agriculture, and College personnel from Louisiana State Univ. and several other state colleges.

L. L. RUSOFF, of L.S.U., served as program committee chairman. J. N. EFFERSON, Dean of Agriculture at L.S.U., gave the welcoming address, and H. G. NELSON, Southwestern Louisiana College, Hammond, and president of the new division, gave the keynote talk.
