ABSTRACT
Two lactation experiments were conducted with 12 cows in each test, fed concentrate mixtures containing corn gluten feed, corn distillers dried grains, or cocoanut oil meal at a level of 40% of the mixture. The feed containing cocoanut oil meal resulted in a highly significant increase in the fat content of the milk. Cows receiving corn distillers dried grains produced more total milk (P < 0.10) than when on the two other mixtures. The differences in production of fat-corrected milk were not significant.
