Effect of Method of Feeding Methionine and Potassium Orotate to Young Calves1

ABSTRACT

When fed potassium orotate and methionine, either by capsule or in the milk, young calves gained 25% more weight than comparable controls. Height at withers and efficiency of feed conversion were not affected.
