Curriculum and Course Organization for Dairy Science

The Dairy Production Curriculum

H. H. Cole

Dept. of Animal Husbandry, University of California, Davis

ABSTRACT

An attempt has been made to outline methods whereby students in dairy production can attain necessary specialization in the biological sciences, without ignoring the importance of a liberal education. Our aim should be to train dairymen in a manner which, in addition to giving them competence, will enable them to take their place in society and to provide intelligent leadership.
