ABSTRACT
Cottonseed and cottonseed meal were compared as protein sources in a 17% protein mixture in a double reversal feeding trial. Differences in production of fat-corrected milk and butterfat percentages in favor of the cottonseed ration vpere highly significant (P < 0.01). Milk production was significantly higher (P <0.05) on the cottonseed ration. Differences in roughage consumption and gains in body weight were not significant.
