ABSTRACT
Studies were made to determine the relationships between spermatozoan concentration in ejaculated semen and fertility and between numbers of motile spermatozoa and fertility of 10 bulls in 1949 and in 1950–51. Also, a dilution experiment using 2, 6, and 12 million motile spermatozoa per milliliter was conducted. The various correlations and regressions are discussed.
From a review of the literature and the results of the studies reported herein the following conclusions appear to be justified:
