The Effect of Ultra-Violet Irradiation on the Vitamin A, Carotene, and Riboflavin Content of Milk*

ABSTRACT

Experimental and market milks irradiated with ultra-violet light to produce 400 U.S.P. units of vitamin D per quart were not reduced in vitamin B1, carotene, vitamin A, or riboflavin content.
