The Phosphatase Test as Used by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health for Law Enforcement Purposes*

ABSTRACT

Conclusion: Violations of the Massachusetts law by representing as pasteurized raw or incompletely pasteurized milk have been materially reduced by means of the phosphatase test, supplemented, when obtainable, by other evidence and followed by prosecutions.
