ABSTRACT
Conclusion: The experiments cited show that the use of a detergent mixture containing sodium metaphosphate prevented the formation of milkstone on both the metal and rubber parts of the milking machines. The use of milking machines kept free of milkstone deposits made it possible to produce a lower count milk than was produced with the machines containing milkstone.
