A Rapid Method for Determining Moisture in Roughages

ABSTRACT

Moisture was determined in the same samples of roughage by, 1, drying in an electric oven for 24 hours at 100° C.; 2, drying 10 to 30 minutes in a machine designed to force heated air through the material. The results obtained by the two methods showed a satisfactory agreement.
