The Relation of the Soluble Portion of Alfalfa to the Rapid Absorption of Feed Flavor in Milk

ABSTRACT

Conclusions:

  1. Feed flavor appears in the milk twenty minutes after the ingestion of flavor-producing materials in liquid form.
  2. The most pronounced feed flavor was present in the milk drawn 45 to 60 minutes after drenching.
