Maintenance Requirements for Calves Tested by Live Weight Methods*

ABSTRACT

Conclusions: The net energy (calculated by the Armsby method from the chemical analyses of feed used) necessary to maintain uniform weight in dairy bred calves in normal flesh is about 90 per cent of that set forth in Armsby's Tables.
