The Relation of Sunlight to the Growth and Development of Calves*

ABSTRACT

Conclusion: So far as could be measured by general observations, weights, and rate of skeletal growth, the absence of sunlight was without effect upon calves kept in darkness from the age of one week to two years. Normal reproduction also occurred.
